Colhit is a non-toxic and biodegradable anti-transpirant that forms a prophylactic shield on the leaves, stems and fruit of plants. It is a product specially formulated for the resistance of plants to adverse climatic conditions as well as the preservation of fruits and vegetables. Colhit forms a thin layer of film that reflects excess light, protecting the plant against damage from frost, drought and other adverse weather conditions.

OBSERVATIONS:

When fruits and vegetables are immersed into Colhit solution, it wraps the treated produce in a prophylactic film that, when dried, holds moisture keeping the freshness of fruits and vegetables.

Colhit is an excellent post-harvest treatment product for fruits and vegetables to extend their shelf life.

 RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE:

Colhit can be used as:

  • Foliar spray to keep the moisture in the plant.
  • Immersing fruit and vegetables or just spraying on the harvested fruits to increase the shelf life of the same.
  • After shaking well, pour Colhit into a clean and dry tank, add water and mix well.
  • The use of high-pressure sprayers is recommended to ensure maximum and uniform coverage.

DOSAGE:

  • For Foliar Spray mix 400-500 ml of Colhit with 100 liters of water.
  • Mix 8 ml of Colhit with 1 liter of water and dip fruits and vegetables into it for 15 minutes.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Colhit is compatible with most pesticides. However, it is good practice to perform compatibility tests locally when the tank is mixed with other products.

STORAGE:

  • Colhit should be kept in its original container, properly labeled, well-sealed, and stored in a cool, dry, ventilated place.
